Paul Horton

Paul Horton is the Morning Meteorologist on CBS 5 and a weekend DJ on 98.7 The Peak. He has been in Valley for 3 years now and last year won an Emmy for the Southwest Region Best Weather Anchor. Paul moved here from Cincinnati, Ohio where he was a meteorologist there for 5 years.   

Paul was last season’s host on Lone Butte Lucky Break and he had so much fun he wanted to come back and participate this season as a judge. He grew up around music and went to George Fox University on a Vocal Scholarship. It was there where he won the Oregon State Solo Champion as a baritone.

Whitney Steele

Singer/Songwriter Whitney Steele’s latest album (Any Thoughts On That?) features lead singer Robin Wilson and guitarist Scotty Johnson of the Gin Blossoms. She has had the honor of singing The National Anthem for The Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field, The Phoenix Coyotes, and The Chicago White Sox. Most recently, she shared the stage as the opening act for the Gin Blossoms, Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, as well as J.R. Richards (lead singer of Dishwalla).
